Singapore Book Council is an independent charity with IPC status, championing for creative writing, reading, illustration, translation and storytelling. As a Marketing Assistant, I supported SBC's marketing and communications across major projects, including the Anugerah Persuratan (Malay Literary Award) and the Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC), as well as internal initiatives.
General Tasks
Design Production
Produced 9 design collaterals adapted for social media and the website; applying the "Rule of Three" approach to each brief: one safe option, one in my own style, and one "wow" concept.
Bi-weekly eNewsletters
Delivered 13 editions of the eNewsletter via Mailchimp to an audience of over 13,000, keeping subscribers updated on upcoming SBC programmes.
Social Media Management
Planned and maintained social media calendars to inform and engage audiences on current happenings in Singapore's literary arts scene.
Website Content Management
Served as the main website manager, keeping content and advertisements up to date and liaising with developers to identify bugs and coordinate fixes.

Anugerah Persuratan 2020/2021
Anugerah Persuratan is a biennial event, organised by the Malay Language Council, Singapore, to recognise, develop and encourage local talents to write in the Malay language.

The Asian Festival of Children's Content (AFCC) is SBC's flagship event and a leading festival in Asia focusing on children's books and stories and young adult (YA) fiction.
